In my everyday
life, I am an engineer, a single mother, and a breast cancer survivor.
My experiences have shaped what I choose to paint, and how to
paint it. And yet, the greatest lesson I have learned is to go
with the flow. I start with a subject that interests me, something
I see or a vision from a dream. I allow the colors for the painting
choose themselves; I begin with the intention of representing
the subject realistically, magic intervenes and I become a conduit
between the Universe and the canvas, merely recording the vibrations
and messages that exist in that particular time and space. I become
my intuition.
