SVAM is proud to reveal the world of art and artists to you – thanks to the Internet. Our mission is to share with anyone having Internet access to experience private art collections, to assist professional artists with their careers, to help teach art, and to provide a hub of art activities worldwide. Here are some of the sections you are invited to enjoy.

See the Exhibitions

Our virtual online gallery includes specific art and art categories. We include private art collections, 3D stereo imagery, photos of fire-based art, ice-based art, sculptures that are made of glass, acrylic, and stone. We focus on art that transcends the traditional museum experience, such as art that would not be possible in a conventional museum. For example, Burningman is the largest art show which is outdoors and covers 40 square miles. It has art that moves, burns and is best seen at night. You don’t have to go to a museum, such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, or the world famous MOMA in New York City, to view contemporary art, classical imagery, portraiture, painting, illustrations, drawings, or prints. Our site links you to these online locations. We also provide with our exhibitions curatorial notes, descriptions of the technology behind the art, and links to more detailed information.

Painting, regardless of skill level, can be enjoyed by anyone of any age. In this section, we provide useful links and information that we have selected to be the best of the Internet. In addition, we provide detailed step-by-step instructions for guiding young artists that can be used by home schools and online classroom settings.

In our new section of art collecting, we provide advice, links to galleries, information regarding appraisers, and links to sites that guide you in the process of buying and collecting all different kinds of art. With this up-to-date information, you will be pleased with the knowledge and expertice that professional enjoy.

We cover resources for kids, galleries and museums, science and technology related art, art magazines, and essential resources for artists, such as links to art job sites. You will notice that we have included technology and science in this section because we believe the relationship between science and art is close. In our resources section, we have chosen the most useful sites to help encourage and assist artists in their path toward success.

Our Future

We have big plans for the future! We plan on having more exhibitions covering computer graphics, tattoo art, graffiti, interactive art, and art competitions.
